Corona measures Austria

You can go on holiday to Austria again!

Date: July 13, 2020

Austria admits tourists again. Entry and exit restrictions have been lifted, and local measures taken to combat the spread of the corona virus have also been relaxed. Meanwhile, the color code is yellow, which means that there are still a number of measures. The health situation in Austria is comparable to that in the Netherlands. So you can go on holiday to Austria.

If you want to travel from Croatia to Austria and stay here you must be able to show a negative test. Travelling through Austria without a stopover is still allowed, even without a negative Corona test.

Austrian campsites

You can now return to many campsites in Austria. Eurocamp has developed a number of measures so that you can go on holiday safely and responsibly. It includes the following components:

  • sober reception on arrival
  • cleaning the accommodations with certified disinfectants
  • accommodations are extra ventilated
  • common areas are cleaned regularly
  • queue management for the facilities
  • redesign of the restaurants, extension of take-away options
  • making disinfectant products available at various points
  • personnel wear protective equipment
  • compulsory wearing of face masks in public transport and public health facilities such as health centers and pharmacies.
  • animation and facilities such as the swimming pool are adapted to government measures.
  • no major events (eg evening shows)
  • encourage contactless payments
  • implementation and compliance protocols in case of suspected contamination

At the campsite, you must take into account the local safety regulations. Because this information differs per destination and / or per campsite and also changes regularly, we advise you to consult the official website of the campsite before you leave.
