Endless swimming and sunbathing

A holiday at Village Bella Iseo (formally Sassabanek campsite) on Lake Iseo guarantees plenty of fun in the water for the whole family. You can walk directly from the spacious, green sunbathing area to the lake for a refreshing dip in the clear water. As a guest at this campsite, you also have free access to no less than five amazing swimming pools! On the campsite itself, you will find both a lovely large pool where you can swim laps to your heart’s content, as well as a toddler pool. This toddler pool is sixty centimetres deep, making it ideal and safe for the youngest guests. Cross the little bridge to the adjacent (and public) Sporting Lido sports complex, and three more fabulous swimming pools await you, including an impressive round pool with a diameter of 33 metres, as well as a great view of the lake! At this lido, you will also find a spacious, green sunbathing area which leads directly to the lake, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the clear water. Relax and settle down on a comfortable sun lounger and enjoy the Italian sun to the full. Please note that the Lido closes in the evenings (at around 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the low season, and at around 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the high season). Outside these times, you do not have access to the sunbathing area, the lake, or the additional swimming pools.

Sports and games for all ages

During the opening hours of the Lido, this lively campsite is definitely the perfect place for sports and games. Challenge your family to a game of beach volleyball, tennis, or basketball on the well-maintained sports fields (please note: these facilities close in the evenings at the same time as the Lido). There are also plenty of fun-packed water activities that are available through the local water sports school, including windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding! For younger children, there are also two fine outdoor playgrounds, set in lush, green surroundings, where the youngsters can scramble around to their heart’s content! During the high season, there is a simple entertainment programme. This campsite is less suitable for families with teenagers since all the facilities at the Lido are closed in the evenings, plus the fact that there is little to do on the campsite itself.

Sample the Italian cuisine

Even in culinary terms, you certainly won’t miss a thing here, so feel free to leave those pots and pans behind for an evening! For a quick, tasty bite, you can head to the brand-new DUCK Bistrot, where you can indulge in delicious burgers, fresh salads, and refreshing drinks. Perhaps you would like to treat yourself to a more elaborate dinner. If so, we recommend you go to Osteria ai Nidrì, a great restaurant right on the premises where you can sample the delicious local fare. However, if you want to experience the truly authentic atmosphere and dine in style, we definitely recommend you take a pleasant walk from the campsite to the centre of Iseo, where you will find a wide selection of excellent restaurants. Near the water, you will also find Sassabar, which has recently been renovated. It is the ideal place for you to enjoy a relaxed breakfast or a pleasant drink outdoors while the sun slowly sets.

Campsite Village Bella Iseo is the ideal choice for those of you who enjoy going on unforgettable excursions! From the campsite, you can walk along a flat and car-free path to the historic, vibrant centre of Iseo in just fifteen to twenty minutes. From the pier in this town, you can easily take the ferry to Monte Isola, the largest car-free island in a European lake. Here, you can take it easy and go cycling or walk along charming little fishing villages. In the direct vicinity of the campsite, nature lovers can step onto quaint wooden boardwalks and discover the protected marshland of Torbiere del Sebino. In addition to all this, the world-famous wine region of Franciacorta is just around the corner! It is the perfect choice if you fancy some prestigious wine tasting among the vineyards. What’s more, the minute you set off on your holiday, you will feel wonderfully relaxed because the campsite is easily accessible! It is just a forty-minute drive from Bergamo Airport and a quarter of an hour from the A4 motorway.
