Camping Lido Verbano

Camping Lido Verbano is a small campsite on the south side of Lago Maggiore and is situated directly on the large lake. The beautiful location of the mobile homes, near the lake, makes this an ideal campsite to enjoy the beautiful Lake Maggiore. At this campsite you will experience the typical Italian atmosphere.

New swimming paradise!

From early June 2026, a beautiful new waterpark of no less than 720 square meters will open at Lido Verbano Camping Village! This eco-friendly swimming pool is built with natural materials and therefore fits perfectly into the green surroundings of Lake Maggiore. The pool slopes gradually from 0 to 120 cm and is partially heated to 28 °C, making it an ideal and safe place for families with children of all ages. Around the water, you will find a spacious sunbathing lawn with comfortable sun loungers and parasols.

With the cozy bar just a few steps away and free access to the pool during your stay, you have the perfect choice every day of your holiday: a dip in the lake or wonderfully relaxing by the comfortable new pool.

Directly on a private beach

The location of the campsite is very nice, directly on Lake Maggiore. You can sunbathe or play a game of beach volleyball on the fine grass beach. Children can play and build sandcastles with their new friends. After a wonderful day at the lake, the restaurant "Dakota" is a cosy restaurant / beach bar where you can taste traditional Italian dishes. The 'Dakota' restaurant also welcomes you for breakfast with fresh croissants. From the terrace of this campsite you have a spectacular view over the lake.

Great place for wakeboarding

The animation team ensures that there is fun for everyone. Every day the kids can participate in various activities such as basketball, soccer, tennis or beach volleyball and table tennis. Adults can have fun at the gym, yoga or on a bike tour of the area. At Camping Lido Verbano there is even the possibility of wakeboarding, supping or kayaking. This unique experience will ensure that you have an unforgettable vacation at Lago Maggiore. For the little ones, the newly renovated playground is a fun place to play. In the evening you can enjoy shows, cabaret and music evenings at the campsite. In the weekends also quite a few Italian guests visit the campsite, so fun is guaranteed.

Sail the boat on Lake Maggiore

You can bring your own boat and reserve a spot at the landing stage. If you do not have your own boat you can rent one. Going out by boat is a fun way to fully enjoy all the beauty that Lake Maggiore has to offer.

Lake Maggiore is a popular holiday destination. But of course it is! It is a stunning area with a view over white mountain tops, beautiful castles, villages and cities that can be reached easily. How about welcoming Arona, trendy Stresa or the famous Borromeo islands? Floral island Isola Bella, for example, is really worth a visit, with its Baroque palace and the extravagant gardens. And you can take the Lago Maggiore Express over to the island and the rest of the lake.
